AI Front Desk · Beta

An AI receptionist that answers every call to your roofing company

A homeowner with water coming through the ceiling does not leave a voicemail. They hang up and call the next roofer. Rooftops AI Front Desk is a virtual receptionist built for roofing and home services: it answers on the first ring in a warm, natural voice, works out whether the caller is a new prospect, an existing customer, an insurance claim or a bill, gets the name, the verified address and the problem, checks the address against your service area, and texts you the lead before the caller has put the phone down. Emergencies and anyone who asks for a person go straight through to you.

How it works

01

Set it up in seven screens

Tell it what kind of company you are, where the office is, how far you travel, what you do, and what to ask for each kind of call. Pick a name and a voice, choose a local number, and it's answering. Forward your existing line to it or put it on new ads.

02

It answers, verifies, and qualifies

Every caller gets a conversation, not a menu. The agent confirms the name against caller ID, geocodes the address and asks for the zip when a street alone isn't enough, checks it's inside your service area, asks the one follow-up that matters for that kind of call, and confirms the best number to reach them.

03

You get the lead, graded

A text and an email land the moment the call ends: who called, why, the verified address, what's wrong, and a quality grade that says what was checked. The transcript, recording and summary are in your dashboard, the caller is saved as a customer, and the lead goes to your CRM if you've connected one.

What you get

Not just new leads

Existing customers asking when the crew is coming, adjusters with a claim number, someone paying a bill: the agent works out who's calling early and handles each the right way, then routes the callback to the person who owns it.

Verified addresses, in your area

Street, city and zip confirmed against the map, then checked against the radius or the list of towns you serve. Nobody drives an hour to a job you didn't want.

Warm transfers when it matters

Water coming in right now, or a caller who wants a person: the agent dials your mobile and only connects when you pick up. No answer sends the caller back to the agent, not into your voicemail.

Knows your company

It answers "what all do you offer" and "how soon can someone come" in your words, never says it doesn't have the schedule, and tells the truth about being a virtual assistant if asked.

Recordings, transcripts, CRM

Every call is logged with the conversation, a two-sentence summary, tags and a next step. Connect JobNimbus, AccuLynx or a webhook and each lead is created there with the summary as a note.

Cost you can see

Answered minutes per month are capped and shown on your dashboard, repeat callers and floods go to voicemail instead of the agent, and every call runs at most ten minutes. No surprise bill.

Frequently asked questions

Does it sound like a robot?

No. It uses a natural, conversational voice with noise cancellation and sub-second replies, and it's written to talk the way a good receptionist talks: one question at a time, a real reaction to what the caller said, no scripts. If a caller asks, it says honestly that it's the company's virtual assistant and that a person follows up on every call.

What happens with an emergency?

If a caller describes water actively coming in or storm damage happening right now, or simply asks for a person, the agent transfers the call to your mobile straight away. If nobody picks up, the caller comes back to the agent, which takes their details and promises a call back within the hour.

Which plan includes it?

The AI Employee plan: $98 a month per AI employee ($74 a month billed annually). Each AI employee is one front desk with its own local number and 300 answered minutes a month, and the plan includes everything in Business. There's no free trial because a live phone line costs real money per minute, so it's paid from day one and live the same minute.

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Yes. Forward your existing line to the number the front desk answers on, and callers never see a difference. You can also give the new number its own job, like a storm line or a number for a specific ad campaign, and run more than one front desk.

Is it only for roofing?

It was built for roofing and it's just as at home with exteriors, gutters, solar, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and restoration. The setup asks what kind of company you are and adjusts what it says, what it asks and what counts as an emergency.

Is it in beta?

Yes. It answers real calls today and is improving weekly, and we read transcripts to make it better. Beta means you'll see new capabilities land often and we'd love to hear what a call got wrong.
